Intro to co-ops workshop

Short introductory workshops showcasing the myriad of benefits for forming cooperative organizations within the farming sector. The first workshop will be available to all via Zoom and will be followed by several regional workshops for those that wish for a more personal introduction to the benefits of cooperative formation.

These workshops will provide an introduction to what a cooperative is and why cooperative formation is such a viable tool to help 'level the playing field' for Humboldt County farmers. The presenters of the workshops will also go over the various tools they are offering through the Cooperative Agriculture Network, including details on The Cooperative Academy.

The workshops will be presented by local farmers , cooperative experts, and their allies in Humboldt County.
