The Foundation for Intentional Community (FIC) is seeking an experienced technologist to join the team as our Lead Developer. This is an opportunity to serve the intentional communities movement and directly help to create a more cooperative, just, and regenerative world.
As Lead Developer, you’ll work on the technical aspects of our WordPress website, including our online Communities Directory, e-commerce store, donations systems, online courses, marketing and analytics systems, and discussion space. The ideal candidate is comfortable working within a collaborative mission-oriented team, and has extensive experience in taking and implementing decisions towards best practices in both front and backend WordPress development.
You’ll work closely with our IT Director, who oversees team operations, manages planning, and handles wider organization communications. Your focus will be to together with the team implement new aspects of and maintain our existing technical infrastructure.
