With an eye towards the International Year of Cooperatives in 2025, ICA is launching a "Meet and Greet" campaign to strengthen the voice of the global cooperative movement. For the last two centuries, the cooperative identity has offered tangible solutions for fighting climate change, reducing poverty, creating equal opportunities for all, and promoting positive peace in times of conflict.
You are invited to attend a webinar with other cooperators, to learn how the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) serves its members, and the impact it has on the cooperative movement. In this first Meet & Greet CICOPA members will be interviewed. This event will be held on April 4, 2024, at 10:00 CEST. Our special guests will be Siôn Whellens, cooperator and board member of the UK Federation workers.coop and Osamu Nakano, President of CICOPA Asia-Pacific and Director of international relations of the Japan Worker Cooperative Union (JWCU). Gretchen Hacquard, ICA’s Director of Membership, will be the moderator and Francesca Zaganelli, CICOPA membership coordinator, will be presenting CICOPA. This will be the first in this series that we will be organising this year.
