Accessible virtual pride was born from our disabled queer community members not being included in local in-person prides. Whether that was due to the lack of Covid precautions or inaccessible venues, many events let go of their accessible initiatives. We listened to our community members and decided to work together to put together this event. It has been a resounding success, with many saying it was the first Pride they had ever been able to attend!
