The current energy bonanza based on fossil fuels cannot go on forever. Climate change reasons apart, fossil fuels are not inexhaustible, even if new extraction methods such as fracking are used to eke out dwindling supplies.

This new landscape, whenever it comes along, will impact on all areas of everyone’s lives; access to food, transport, energy, manufacturing, etc. How can co-ops provide solutions?

Our Future Co-ops conferences have become a fixture in the co-operative movement calendar and 2017 is the 10th year the event has been held.
