Catalyzing worker co-ops & the solidarity economy

Co-op Events in Cincinnati

An exciting moment! For those near Cincinnati, there is an opportunity to hear from Cooperative Hall of Famer and Collective Courage author Jessica Gordon Nebhard on April 21 at 7pm at XU. She will share the exciting and little known history of African American cooperative business ownership and its place in the movements for Black civil rights and economic equality for centuries. April 22nd continues the fun with a co-op conference at XU that includes hands on workshops on how to create a co-op, access capital, as well as exciting workshops on co-op development nationally and internationally, as well as some innovative co-op development work occurring within prisons. Hope you can join us!
Also, scan below for a brief update on the CUCI co-ops and an exciting effort underway in Dayton by our affiliate Greater Dayton Union Co-op Initiative (GDUCI) as well as links to some recent media and some upcoming events at Community Blend!
