Catalyzing worker co-ops & the solidarity economy

3rd Annual NYC Worker Co-op Conference this Weekend!

The New York City Network of Worker Cooperatives, in collaboration with CUNY Law School and the CUNY University Student Senate, invites worker-owners, the coop community, lawmakers and the general public to its third annual conference.

The conference will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at The CUNY Law School. This year's conference promises to be an exciting day of strategy discussions, workshops, panels, and presentations.  We will provide space to strategize about how to strengthen the worker cooperative economy and ecosystem in NYC by supporting existing worker cooperatives and exploring new horizons for worker cooperatives in NYC and beyond.

The morning will be a closed strategy session for worker-owners and members of the NYC Worker Cooperative Coalition.  At 12:30 we invite the general public for lunch, a worker cooperative fair with free demos and a sample selection of products and services, and an afternoon of workshops, panels, and exciting discussions.

We aim to make the conference accessible to anyone who wants to attend. Therefore, we are not charging a registration fee but we do ask those who with more resources to make this possible by making a donation.
